Summers Comming to an End

So I know we have not posted in forever but we have been very buys. In May I graduated from college and then passed my state boards so I am now a RN. Maci got the all clear from the vet. We had Xrays taken again and she was completely healed and she does not show that anything has happened. She runs like crazy and loves to go swimming. We have moved back to Oregon and we remodeled one of the duplexes that Greg's parents have into our new home for a while. I am happy that the upstairs is all done finally. Just ask Greg I have been kinda crabby through the remodeling process. This being because we are both working full time and doing things around the house on my weekends off and nights when we are not to tired. This winter we need to tackle the basement. It will be very nice to have it all done. And in doing all this we have not been able to go camping as much as we hoped but hopefully next year every other weekend we will be camping. We have also got to spend lots of time with Kelly and Eric. We even taught them how to water ski so now next year they will have to come to the lake again so they can show off their skills. So over all we have had a great summer and I am very happy to be done with school for now. I am still considering going back to school to get my bachelors degree and I am trying to convince Greg to go back to school also. First we need to save up some money so we can enjoy life!!

New Family Member

So we have a new family member in our house... we got a puppy!!! Her name is Maci and she is a lab beagle mix. So far the cats are getting along ok with her and we have not had any big fights. We are having a blast playing with her and we cant wait until we move back in June so we have more places to run around in.

Happy New Year

Happy New Year everyone!!!! We celebrated by going out to dinner and then playing the Wii with Greg and my parents. We had lots of fun and Greg and I managed to stay up until midnight. We are looking forward to a better 2010 this last year has had a lot of downs to it. :(

Merry Christmas

We just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I passed my third semester in the RN program and I have only one semester to go!!! I hopefully will be graduating in May 2010!!! We hope everyone had a good Christmas and a good 2009 and we are ready to move on to 2010.

Blizzard and Christmas Tree 2009

We had our first snow of the year and it just happened to be a blizzard that left 15 inches of snow!! Greg was excited because this meant that he could get his snowmobile out and going. For me this meant not wanting to drive any where, leaving 10-15 minutes sooner than I normally would and having to scrape my windows every morning. As you can see we definitely had different opinions about the snow.

So this year we decided to down size on our tree a bit. I didnt think we had room for the big artificial tree and Greg didnt want to mess with getting a real tree again this year. So we decided on getting a pre-lit tree and boy did I love not having to put the lights on it. I like the tree but Greg thinks that it is not tall enough and full enough. The cats are enjoying it as much as they did last year and Quip has even knocked it down a few times. After the ornaments were on they left it a lone and I thought it would be fine and then came to find out this morning that Daisy sits in the window and plays with the ornaments. Well at least it can entertain everyone for a while. All of our Christmas presents are wrapped and now I just have to concentrate on studying until the end of the semester.
